On Monday last week (I’m talking October 3, 2016), a group of well-meaning Niger Delta citizens, residents, friends and well wishers came together under one umbrella to emancipate for and preach peace in the Niger Delta by embarking on a Peace walk.
The Peace Walk tagged #IWakaForPeace which was put together by Ediz Wine Bar and ‘The Coalition of Niger Delta Youth Leaders’ kicked off at about 11am on the day from Ediz wine bar, G.R.A. Port Harcourt with Government house Port Harcourt as the final destination.

The walk was a successful one that sprouted reactions from road users who later turned into spectators as the able and talented youths of the Niger Delta displayed their dance moves amidst other catchy activities that went down that day.
The #IWakaForPeace movement later came to an end and was crowned with #Freedomconcert later in the evening of the same day, with thrilling performances by top entertainers from the Niger Delta and beyond.
Enough of the explanation in black and white, i think it’s high time i introduced some still images from the event.
