As far as I’m concerned, it’s not beans to be signed to be signed to a top notch music label, not just as a recording artiste but also the label’s first Lady. It’s synonymous to being a queen of a castle. But then what use is being a queen of a castle when you can’t roar and command respect from your subjects?
It’s been over 8 months since the south-south music queen, Tonye Garricks Was announced by the management of MADE MEN MUSIC GROUP (Triple MG) as the label’s first Lady (this is after Emma Nyra’s exit from the label) and so far found, I personally can’t record substantial progress of hers. The year 2016 only saw 3 public outputs (one track only) from her HERE, HERE and HERE.

In June 2016, she released WRITTEN IN THE STARS, a soul serene music and a masterpiece worthy of massive publicity but I’m not sure enough was invested in that direction. The song died after few days. No visual representation of this track even; it got me wondering if the fault is from the artiste or the label. Vizaviz, a fault is a fault and has to be corrected this year.
If you ask me I’ll say Tonye Garricks was better of before being signed to Triple MG; at least I can boast of collaborations with Timaya in Criminal (Remix) and finesse visuals in ARI BELEMA.
After all said, We hope to see a better Tonye this year. A queen should live up to the expectations of a queen. So far her impacts in the industry is on zero level.
Tonye, please get back to the drawing table and restrategies. Stop falling my hands.😡
