It baffles me how everyone wants to get rich and no one wants to put in not only work but also time and dedication. The last time I checked, Rome was not built in a day; or is there a new Rome that I don’t know about? If there is, please help me unlearn and relearn. I’ll be forever grateful.
Talking about putting in work and dedication, a greater number the few who put in work and dedication do so for the wrong cause. They’re dedicated to working other people out to enrich their pockets. They devise new means everyday and the victims of the previous remains victims of next. This got me wondering if they actually don’t learn from past mistakes.
The introduction of ponzi schemes and other types of Internet businesses has increased the rate of cyber crimes in Nigeria and the world at large. The emergence of the popular ponzi scheme MMM has given birth to a number of other schemes, littered all over the nation and people are being scammed on the daily. Some time in January 2017, a friend of mine was wailing in tears that he lost a hundred and twenty thousand Naira (120K) to fraudsters through a Whatsapp group. It will shock you to know that, many people have quit their jobs because they made initial gain from one ponzi scheme or the other. The end there of was disastrous as they lost more than 200% of their investment when these schemes crash.
Well I’m not here to preach or criticize any scheme or business, I’m concerned about the future generations. Let’s do things right, you there that wants quick money, it’s high time you changed your perspective. Receive sense and don’t be fooled. That fortune you didn’t work for (legitimately), you’ll end up lavishing and/or losing it.
